Steele Family News
March 2022

Hello, Steele Fam! 👋  Hope your February went well! We've loved any conversations or visits we've had with you, and hope you are all doing great! 💕

We hope you're enjoying reading these letters, and that you're all feeling a little more updated and closer to each other by reading them. 😁

As in past letters, in this letter we will continue to talk about family traditionsupcoming events, and highlight at least one person in our family. 😊

STEELE FAMILY TRADITIONS
Family & Personal Prayers--Growing up, most of you remember us having family prayers morning and night, blessings on the food, and being encouraged to have personal prayers on your own. During this time in our lives when the world (and even our own lives) feels like everything is in commotion, we need a connection with heaven even more than ever! God is not concerned so much with HOW we talk with Him. He just wants us to turn to Him for help, and to express thanks for any blessings we receive. There are people all over the world that need our prayers.

It also helps us draw closer to each other when we think about our family members and remember them in our prayers. We all have difficult experiences and things we are working on, so we all need all the prayers we can get! I hope you all know that Dad/Papa and I are praying for each one of you. You all are ALWAYS in our thoughts and prayers! 💜

MARCH BIRTHDAYS

Dimitri Steele--March 8

Dimitri is turning 1 this month! Everyone likes to be remembered on their birthday. If you can't celebrate with Dimitri, make some time to show him how important he is to you! And if it’s YOUR birthday month, and someone remembers YOU—say thank you. Kindness matters 😊

FAMILY EVENTS

March 21st, 5:00 pm--??: March FHE and Family BBQ!! We are also hoping to be able to celebrate Dimitri's birthday with him at the BBQ. Peter's & Emily's work schedules are crazy right now, so we will cross our fingers that they can make it. Our last family event was so fun, and we're sure this one will be also!

We know some of you are out-of-state, but we'd love for any and all of you to be there! We need to know at least a week in advance, so we can plan for food & sleeping arrangements. If we don't hear from you by March 14th, we'll assume you can't make it. Gifts are welcome for Dimitri! 🎊 And all family is welcome too--the more, the merrier! We'll play outdoor and indoor games, roast s'mores, and eat yummy food. 😁 The BBQ will be at our house: 19990 E Via Del Palo, Queen Creek AZ 85142.

March 8-13th:
Mom/Nana will be heading up to Utah to drive Grandma & Grandpa Eaton around to visit family, and for them to attend cousin Cari Dalton's wedding. I know they'd love to stop by and say hi
👋 to any of you, or even go out to eat. Please text me and let me know if you'd like to make that happen! Grandma & Grandpa are only getting older. It's good to visit with them any chance we get! 💗

March 25-27th: Mom/Nana, Dad/Papa, and Grandma Steele are flying to Utah for cousin Jacob's sealing in the temple with his new bride, Jenny. I know that Grandma Steele would especially love to see any grandchildren and great-grandchildren she can! Please let me know if you'd like to see her 😁

Any family events I'm missing?? Please contact me and let me know!

FAMILY HIGHLIGHT

Each month we’ll highlight at least one member of our family regarding a happy event in their life. March’s highlight is........

Kristina! 😊 Krissy (as Mom likes to call her) moved into a new apartment recently, and last month took a trip to DUBAI!!! She's the first in our family to visit that beautiful city, and the pictures she sent were amazing! We had a chance to meet her nice roommate a month ago and visit with a couple of her friends--and, of course, see Grizzle 😁 We hear that Kristina might be visiting new baby, Zendaya, soon in SLC. She's still living in Las Vegas, so if you're in the neighborhood, look her up!

And..... we have to have two highlights for this month.....

Kalani!! As you can see above, she has learned a new trick to make everyone around her laugh! She scrunches up her nose and shows her gums--guaranteeing a smile from anyone within eyesight. 😆 She's also just learned the "army crawl" and how to wave bye-bye. 👋 With these sweet little ones, they change on a daily basis. If we aren't watching close enough, they grow up before we know it!

That’s it for this month. For those we've gotten to talk to or visit with in February, we've loved it! If you have fun news of your own (or even if you just want to talk), give Mom/Dad (Nana/Papa) a call! We’d love to hear from you anytime!!

Hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘
